Ulasan 2

Pada blog kedua ini saya akan membahas mengenai Free Software. Referensi pada blog ini berasal dari video youtube dengan judul "What is Free Software? (Happy Birthday GNU!!!)"  yang dapat diakses melalui link: https://youtu.be/1UhUhTaUpoA .  Video ini berdurasi 5 menit 51 detik diunggah oleh kanal  Goodbye, and thanks for all the fish! pada tanggal 2 September 2008. Free Software adalah, software yang diizinkan untuk bebas diubah dan diimprove oleh komunitas-komunitas yang ada. Dua OS terbesar, Apple dan Microsoft sangat  tegas menolak untuk memberikan priveleage kepada komunitas untuk mengubah dan  mengimprove kode mereka. Hal ini sangat bertentangan dengan prinsip persebaran ilmu pengetahuan, di mana ilmu harus disebarkan dan setiap saat dikembangkan. Richard Stallman akhirnya membuat GNU, sebuah free software yang menggunakan kernel Linux. GNU diharapkan dapat mendukung perkembangan free software  di masa depan.
